The living room and master bedroom open directly onto the patio and your own private swimming pool with the beach just steps beyond.  Relax and enjoy your morning coffee at the table at the end of the pool, taking in the beautiful sunrises and the start of another peaceful day in paradise.    With the ocean at your front door explore tide pools and comb the beach.  You can walk along the beach (or on the road) to La Cruz, or during low tide, casually walk to Bucerias in under an hour.  The new luxurious Marina Riviera Nayarit is an easy 10 minute walk along the beach and 5 more minutes will take you to the village of La Cruz de Huanacaxtle (La Cruz) where there are several very good restaurants, some evening entertainment, shopping and fresh fish markets.

A dining table with six chairs is conveniently located across from the kitchen.  Glasses for any kind of drink imaginable as well as serving dishes can be found in the china cabinet along with table cloths, placemats, napkins and candles for a formal family dinner or a romantic dinner for two!

Whip up a gourmet meal in the fully equipped kitchen complete with cookware and utensils, a water purification system (bottled water is available for your convenience), full sized refrigerator, gas stove with oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and toaster.  And of course, no vacation home is complete without a blender and glasses for those frosty margaritas! 

From the moment you step into Casa Terra and look through the graceful arches in the entrance way you will be struck by the elegant and spacious open floor plan of the living room, dining room and kitchen.  The interior incorporates dramatic open spaces, sparkling white marble floors and marble bathrooms and high ceilings.  Air conditioning in the living room and three bedrooms and ceiling fans throughout, as well as comfortable ocean breezes keep the Casa cool.

The master bedroom suite opens onto the poolside patio and the ocean beyond, and features a king sized bed and master en-suite bath with soaker tub and shower.  Air conditioning as well as screens on the wall-to-wall windows allow for a comfortable night's sleep. 

A home office in the master bedroom offers complimentary internet access with high speed modem or Wi Fi accessible throughout the house and yard.  There is a phone for local calls and a safe to store passports and valuables. 

The second bedroom features a king sized bed while the third bedroom has twin beds, convertible to king bed.  Two main bathrooms, both with marble showers are located just outside the bedroom doors.

The second and third bedrooms open onto the landscaped front garden and their wall-to-wall patio doors with full screens can be left open so that the ceiling fans as well as cross breezes through the Casa guarantee a restful sleep without having to use the air conditioning in the second and third bedrooms.

	Ample outdoor seating allows you to enjoy your morning coffee, a cool refreshing drink or a delicious meal around the pool   Relax with a good book or soak up the sun in one of 4 chaise lounges and numerous comfortable chairs No shortage of comfortable seating here!

Comfortable outdoor furniture on the large partially shaded poolside patio lends itself to a bit of daydreaming, a relaxing snooze or day of basking around the pool to work on your tan--or just settle back on one of the pool lounges with your favourite book and look up to watch the sea birds plunge into the bay for their next meal.  You might also want to settle into one of the four chaise lounges and soak up some rays!

After a day in paradise, casually walk the beach to one of the many fabulous restaurants in La Cruz or Bucerias for dinner, or prepare your meal in the fully equipped kitchen.  You might decide to fire up the built-in stainless steel gas barbeque and grill up a feast of freshly caught fish or shrimp purchased that morning from a fisherman in La Cruz or at the market in Bucerias.  Savour your meal with a fine chardonnay and dine poolside while you admire the evening sky with the lights of Bucerias and Puerto Vallarta twinkling across the bay.  Midnight dip in the private pool, anyone?

It is an easy 10 minute walk along the beach (15 minutes along the road) to the village of La Cruz de Huanacaxtle (La Cruz) with the (now complete) 400 slip upscale Marina Riviera Nayarit where there are restaurants, shops and a fresh fish market.  The village of La Cruz has some VERY GOOD restaurants, some evening entertainment and some shopping.  The town of Bucerias is a 5 to 8 minute drive/taxi or bus ride away for many more very good restaurants, shopping and services.  While we do recommend having a car during your stay at Casa Terra it is not absolutely necessary as there are taxis in the village of La Cruz and the bus service is excellent with buses running every 10 minutes or so from the top of the driveway.  For just a few pesos the bus will take you to all points in the Bay of Banderas. 

	Grill up a storm on the stainless steel  built-in gas barbeque   Walk over to the new Marina Riviera Nayarit in La Cruz  and buy fresh fish and shrimp for the barbie!

There are many activities for both daytime and night time lovers in La Cruz, Bucerias and downtown Puerto Vallarta.  La Cruz and Bucerias have a number of great restaurants, souvenir shops, and small grocery stores which are within walking distance of the house (10-30 minutes).

We can help you arrange for a fishing, snorkeling or sightseeing trip around the Bay of Banderas.  For a nominal fee plus the cost of the food, we can help you arrange for a local couple to come in to prepare a special meal for you.  You do nothing but sit back, relax, and enjoy!  We can also help you arrange for an onsite massage, facial, manicure or pedicure.  A perfect way to relax for a VERY reasonable fee!

A security guard is at the gated entrance 24 hours a day, and a security patrolman is on the beach in the evenings and throughout the night.  As Casa Terra is located between the village of La Cruz and the town of Bucerias, you won't be bothered by vendors or timeshare sales people on the beach.

Our English speaking property managers live in nearby La Cruz and are available to answer any questions you might have.  A welcome letter in the house details pool, lawn, and housekeeping service and a Guest Handbook lists some of our favourite restaurants, things to do and important phone numbers.  About a month before you arrive we will send you an information package with directions to the house, contact phone numbers and the code to the lock box.  We will also provide grocery shopping tips and money and currency basics. 

Casa Terra is wheelchair accessible and as a non-smoking home, we invite you to smoke outside or on the patio only, please.

With prior approval, a well behaved pets may be allowed.
