Unfortunately, we had to come home.  We had a wonderful three week holiday at Casa Terra and still were not ready to come home.  As we had never been on a three week vacation before, I thought I would be ready to come home, but no, I could have stayed much longer. 

When we first got to Casa Terra and opened the door I looked at Pentti and said "It feels like we've come home and we hadn't left" (since last year).  It is such a wonderful home.   Everything was great.  Gloria, the cleaning lady is wonderful and the house was spotless. 

We went out on a boat tour of the harbour which was one of the many highlights of our trip.  The people from Gecko are great and I will definitely recommend them to anyone I talk to.  I had left the car rental to the last, but they were able to come up with an older van for us and we fit right in--just like locals!

We are already trying to plan a trip for next year.  You may be hearing from me with regard to next year in the next few months.

Hi Marilyn

We are home now--nice and rested!  However, anyone who tells you that it's always good to go away and good to come home is lying.  Truly we didn't want to leave Casa Terra.  What a beautiful place, Marilyn.  It had everything, and more than that, to offer. 

Gloria does an excellent job keeping Casa Terra clean and everyone so kind and friendly.  We had Maria over 3 days for pampering (massages, facials, manicures and pedicures) and she was just wonderful. 

We met the owner one day when he popped over to introduce himself as he was visiting friends in the area. If he doesn't tell you often that you do a great job in all the organizing....then he needs to!  Everything was absolutely PERFECT and we thank you for that!!  I did mention to him about the great job that you do so maybe there will be a raise!!!!

Once again, thank you for everything Marilyn, and we will definitely keep you in mind for another year.  We have already recommended you and Casa Terra to everyone that asks.

We spent two glorious weeks at Casa Terra and ocean view Casa de Familia and we loved every minute! 

Casa Terra is perfect and sleeping at the ocean's doorstep has been amazing.  We love the outdoor shower by the pool. 

There are so many great spots in the area--San Pacho, Destiladeras Beach and the wonderful new bakery "Luna Caracol" on Coral in La Cruz--the tomato-jalapeno rolls are perfection!

The kids have combed the beaches, eaten popsicles galore and run with abandon.  They are now die hard body surfers and boogie boarders and we can't believe we will be back snowboarding in 48 hours!

We think Casa Terra has the best view in the oceanfront row of homes (at La Puntilla) and we are plotting to be back again--sooner, rather than later.  Thanks to the assistance of the excellent support staff (security, water, garbage, pool cleaning, etc), we will truly miss so many friendly faces.  The house was wonderful and we had a great time.

We had a fabulous vacation!  The house was beautiful and we felt right at home.  It was the first time we had done a holiday without being at a large resort and this was far superior.  We have been to Puerto Vallarta many times before--this was by far the best trip.

What a beautiful and enjoyable home you have!  A dynamite place to have spent Thanksgiving week and celebrate two birthdays!  Our daughter found Casa Terra on the internet and the four of us loved our stay. 

We kept busy swimming, eating, fishing, eating, sunning and eating!  We took in the bullfights, rode dune buggies (go-carts), enjoyed a boat tour, met new friends, shopped and ate some more!  We enjoyed Hidden Paradise Restaurant and Lettie and Jesus cooked for us two nights!  My massage here at Casa Terra was the greatest!

This holiday ranks right up there--probably the most relaxing vacation we've ever had.  What a lovely, safe and peaceful spot to share with friends.  We had a great experience at Casa Terra and found that the the property and the entire week exceeded our expectations. 

Highlights included riding the bus, the Sunday market in Bucerias, Destiladeras Beach, papaya, and the best (on-site) massage I've eve had.  Snoozing, reading and relaxing in the pool provided much needed restoration.

What a friendly and beautiful place!  I imagined staying busy with daytrips, etc, but in the end, Casa Terra was enough--so peaceful and no real need to go anywhere else. 

Scuba diving was great fun, as was seeing fish and birds from the boat.  We especially enjoyed watching the pelicans diving for fish at the beach.

Casa Terra is beautiful!!!  Thank you for sharing your lovely home.  The sights, sounds and the magnificent views were all so wonderful.  We had a very relaxing time, stress free and no worries.   We preferred the small towns over Puerto Vallarta and did some shopping at the street vendors in Bucerias.

Denis and Adam at Gecko car rental were very helpful.  We highly recommend Gecko to anyone interested in renting a car while visiting the area.

What a great two weeks!  Weather was fabulous, friends laughed, enjoyed the house (so beautiful), traveled to lots of different small towns.  We all plan on returning in a couple of years. 

Had a wonderful vacation.  Weather was great, lots of laughs, perfect place to stay with a group.  Michelle was such an asset to all of us.  She helped us put on a great 50th birthday party--we appreciate her very much.  What a great "home away from home".

A magnificent month long holiday on the beach!  The house is great and the weather is something to dream about.  We have many happy memories from this second visit and will return again.

This was our first visit to Mexico and we all had a fabulous time.  We enjoyed the walks on the beach and exploring the little towns north of here.  The scenery was amazing and the Mexican people have all been so friendly.  We went out in a glass bottomed boat from Rincon which also included snorkeling!

After 10 excellent days in Casa del Pescador (#5-A) just a few doors away, we have continued to thoroughly enjoy ourselves here in Casa Terra for another week.  We are sorry to leave the ocean and head back to the hustle and bustle but we are totally refreshed!

The house and the view were absolutely beautiful!  Thank you so much for allowing us to use your house for our relaxing vacation. Our time here was relaxing and calm, but it went by so fast!  It’s so rare and wonderful to hear the ocean waves crashing on the shore from your bedroom!

An ideal place to de-stress for families living in the hustle and bustle of Mexico City and the isolation that is Asunción, Paraguay.  An excellent antidote to both.  We all enjoyed it, adults and children alike.

“Just another day in paradise”…words we have said many times this week!  The house, the pool, the view and the weather all were perfect!  The worst thing is it must all come to an end, much too quickly.

Thank you for sharing this paradise with us.  We will be back!

Today ends three wonderful weeks in Mexico and at Casa Terra, thanks to Marilyn and Michelle. They were extremely helpful.  And thanks to Michelle for making me see the light that I can’t lock and unlock Casa Terra’s doors with my own house keys! 

Had a great time catching three albacore tuna and being on top of four whales!

Our grandsons loved parasailing, swimming with the dolphins and even the 3 year old learned how to swim in the pool.  Be sure to eat at the Mango Grill in La Cruz and ZA’s Pizza in Bucerias.

Can hardly wait to return next year.  Love this Casa and Mexico.

Your home is GREAT!  The little things like the boogie boards, picnic cooler, etc., make it like a "home away from home".  We would like to thank Marilyn for the efficient way she handled arrangements.  The staff-- guards, pool man and gardeners--are excellent!

The whole area is great, but having "Casa Terra" to come home to makes it greater.  Thanks again, hope we can come again!

Once again, thanks for the "home away from home".  The fishing was exceptional, Cliff got a 450 pound Black Marlin and Dad got a 300 pound Blue Marlin.  It was unbelievable and very memorable.  The Mariettas for snorkeling, the beaches and the local fare are always a treat.  It all makes us want for more of the same. 

The help from everyone was appreciated.  Margo and Felipe are a true joy.  Kind folks are never far away.  You truly have a little slice of "Heaven" here!  We loved it all!

In the 19 years we have been coming here, it gets better and better.  In our many travels through Mexico and abroad, this is a favourite.  Hope to return soon.  Five weeks is not enough!

Having about 9 trips to Puerto Vallarta between us collectively, may we say this was absolutely THE BEST!  Dave, you have a fine home and we felt very comfortable and welcome here.  The beach and pool were so much entertainment for us!  The little villages with their restaurants most charming.
